For the In-Laws Who Need Nothing (or are just too hard to shop for)

Who is this beautiful woman who slightly resembles me? Well that would be my sister, Natalie, an incredible travel planner with Connections Luxury. She started her travel planning career with Disney trips but now does everything. Book a family trip through her to create a lot of magical memories that you didn’t have to stress over orchestrating.

A deck of cards is always needed on a holiday, family trip or just rainy Saturday with family and your in-laws will always be grabbing this set with a family photo on it. Your kids will get a kick out of playing them too.

Especially if you have little kids, the amount of art you could be sending out to family is infinite. This adorable frame from Opposite Wall will be a reminder for you to send them art regularly. A really cool part of this frame is it opens up to easily switch the art and the back has a way for them to store previous works of art.

If you covered my grampy in 10 blankets, it probably wouldn’t be enough. He’s always on the chilly side. This electric blanket has been named the best one and looks insanely cozy. Big enough for a cuddle puddle as well.

While we are on the subject of blankets, we have one of these wearable blankets from LL Bean in our house and we fight over it. Your MIL may even be tempted to wear it in public and like who cares?

Obviously know your audience with this one and if anyone is really struggling with vision, this wont work, but otherwise you can buy a custom Viewfinder and upload your own pictures to it. This would be such a cute thing to then send them updated pictures from a holiday or family trip. Your kids will also be obsessed with looking through it when they are over.

Depending on where you all live, this may not be feasible but I love the idea of getting tickets for your local summer concert series and saying you’ll all go together every month or whatever works best for you. It may need to be something you just write up yourself if these are free events but just the idea of a promise for a few fun nights together is pretty sweet.

If you have big cookers and grillers on your hand, they may love a big shipment or monthly shipments from Butcherbox. Their boxes have premium meat and seafood and we’ve always had really delicious meat from them.

They may love a game night bundle for themselves or a night with the kids. The Just One game has won a bunch of awards for how fun it is and would be a great option. My in-laws love playing our forever favorite, Colorku, with my boys.

This Simple Modern Tumbler may be the perfect gift if you ever invite them out one of your kid’s outdoor sporting events or maybe they have a favorite outdoor activity. So many of these don’t keep things warm or fit in cupholders or cant go in the dishwasher. This one does all three. If they are married, get them both one so they don’t have to fight over it.

Do they have a favorite trip they still talk about? Maybe it was one you all took together. Or maybe they grew up in New York and really miss the bagels. Order them a meal or treat off of Goldbelly. Goldbelly has food ready to ship from restaurants all over the country. Send deep dish from Chicago or rugelach from New York for a sweet revisit to a special time.

If you have someone who really loves to read, I love the idea of giving a bundle of your favorite books you think they might enjoy. I also am really into Quite Literally Books and their reissues with beautiful covers of books from forgotten American female authors.
